We record the raw answer, parse the named businesses, and count citations across all 4 engines. Methodology is documented on each weekly report. Source code for the probe layer is private; the per-business output is public open data.

AI engines occasionally hallucinate business names. We mark every business with engines_seen_in (how many of the 4 engines named it independently) so you can filter to verified entries. Snapshot data reflects what engines returned at probe time and may differ from a query you run yourself five minutes later — that’s the volatility we’re measuring.
